Who you are contracting with

WE3 Media, LLC, doing business as Age of Millennials ("AOM", "we", "us"), operates ageofmillennials.com and the Scout field app for iOS. When you use the site or the app, or subscribe to a paid Scout tier, you are contracting with WE3 Media, LLC. By continuing to use the service you agree to these terms; if you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and if you are accepting as an individual you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

What the service is

AOM publishes editorial coverage and market signals for nostalgia collectors, and Scout is a field app that identifies collectibles, reads current asking prices, shows Heat Index standings and lets you log your own collection and hauls. Signals are not appraisals and not financial, investment or tax advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell, and outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete — your buying decisions are your own. Verify significant purchases against sold comps and the item in your hands.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the tier you have selected. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Scout subscriptions and billing

Scout has a free tier that needs no payment method. Field Agent and Dealer are paid tiers billed either monthly or annually; annual billing is charged once a year. New accounts start on a 7-day Field Agent trial with no card required — when the week ends the account returns to the free Scout tier on its own and nothing is charged unless you choose a paid tier yourself. Current prices and allowances are shown on the Scout page and in the app’s Plan tab.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and leaves access running to the end of the period you already paid for, after which the account returns to the free tier. Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first monthly or annual charge for either paid tier.

Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics for website subscriptions are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscribing from the Scout iOS app

In the US, the Scout iOS app can send you to our website to subscribe. A Scout subscription bought through that website link is a website purchase: it is sold by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record under Paddle’s Buyer Terms, not by Apple. Billing, cancellation and refunds for it are handled by Paddle at paddle.net, under our refund policy. Apple’s terms do not apply to it.

Apple in-app purchases

This section applies only if Scout offers a subscription through Apple’s own in-app purchase system. If you subscribe that way inside the Scout iOS app, the purchase is made through Apple’s in-app purchase system and Apple is the seller of that transaction. Billing, renewal, price-change consent and refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple under the terms of your Apple ID: manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings, and request refunds via reportaproblem.apple.com. An unused portion of a current period is generally non-refundable once a period has begun, in line with Apple’s terms. A subscription bought through Apple unlocks the same tier on the website, and a subscription bought on the website unlocks the same tier in the app — you never need both.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. That includes: unlawful use; fraud, spam or abuse of trials and allowances; infringing anyone’s intellectual property; uploading content you do not have the right to submit; interfering with security, including malware, probing, scraping or circumventing technical limits or tier quotas; reverse engineering; and reselling or redistributing our data or the service.

Scan images you upload must be of items you are entitled to photograph. You are responsible for how you use identifications and price readings. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. We retain ownership of the service, its software, data compilations and branding; you keep ownership of your own content and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we exclude indirect, consequential or special damages including lost profits, lost data and lost goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it to be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kansas, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Age of Millennials ("AOM") publishes editorial signals, market color, and collectible references for informational and entertainment purposes only. Everything on this site is signals, not appraisals. Community submissions

When you submit a tip, story, photo, correction, or store to AOM via /transmit or any other form, you grant AOM a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish, edit, excerpt, translate, and reference your submission — with or without attribution — as part of our editorial coverage.

AOM reserves the right to moderate, redact, decline, or remove any submission for any reason (including inaccuracy, spam, harassment, copyright issues, or fit with our editorial standards). Do not submit anything confidential or that you do not have the right to share.

AOM participates in the eBay Partner Network and links to third-party price references from PriceCharting. Some outbound links are affiliate links; if you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Prices, availability, and listing accuracy are set entirely by those third parties.
